Pendower Beach
Pendower Beach is a stunning destination, situated in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula, that boasts an expansive stretch of soft, golden sand. As the tide recedes, it connects with its neighbour, Carne Beach, forming a vast sandy expanse that spans over a mile across Gerrans Bay.

Families frequent the east side of the beach, which is particularly sandy, while the west end is rockier, with fantastic rockpools for exploration.
The beach is crossed by a charming stream, which is great for children to splash around in. Those who enjoy walking the South West Coast Path will undoubtedly appreciate Pendower Beach's breathtaking views across the bay towards Nare Point.

While exploring the area, it is worth noting that the beautiful Porthcurnick Beach is located 2.5km south of Pendower Beach. Carne Beach, on the other hand, is only 1km to the east.
Overall, Pendower Beach is an excellent spot to spend a day, take a stroll or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The beach is easily accessible, with plenty of parking, good facilities and a lovely cafe. Additionally, it is one of the less crowded beaches in the area, making it ideal for visitors who want to escape the hustle and bustle of more popular destinations.
