Polgaver Beach

Dogs are not permitted on the beach during peak season, and visitors are advised to check local signs for exact guidance.
Visitors should note this beach is occasionally frequented by naturists, although it is not a designated nudist beach.

Additionally, the area was once a bustling mining hub, and visitors can still explore remnants of old mines and a nearby port at Charlestown, which is 3km west. The port is renowned for its picturesque harbour and has been featured in period dramas like Poldark.
