If you are planning on entering the water, it is important to note that there are no lifeguards at this beach and the tidal currents can be strong in the Camel Estuary. Experts recommend entering the water at slack water to ensure your safety, however, swimming between the flags at RNLI lifeguarded beaches is always the recommended option when swimming in the sea.
