On Wednesday 16th of August 2017 The Historic Port of Charlestown Co. and Keep Cornwall Fed are collaborating to host an opulent summer’s evening of fine food, drink and live music.

Set beneath the rigging in the uniquely beautiful backdrop of Charlestown’s ‘Inner Harbour’, this will be a culinary event that is guaranteed to satisfy all the senses.

Arrive from 6:30pm for oysters, canapés and a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
Unwind to music from the incredibly talented solo violinist Liz Orton and indulge in an exquisite meal from the award winning chefs at Keep Cornwall Fed.

Stuart, founder and chef at Keep Cornwall Fed said ’I’ve always loved Charlestown, we saw the inner harbour as the perfect space to host events. The Historic Port were already looking to do something like this and after approaching them we came up with the idea for ‘The Captain’s Table’.

Historic Port of Charlestown
As well as operating a Georgian harbour and the Tall Ships that reside there, the Historic Port of Charlestown Co. are dedicated to using the space in new and exciting ways. Since opening their gates in April the harbour is looking to host many events over the coming months and years.

Thom Axon, curator in the port said ’We have seen the opportunity to use the harbour in so many ways, from food through to theatre, we’re excited to get our events programme under full swing’.
