Perran Sands Beach
Perran Sands Beach is an ideal destination for anyone searching for a stunning and serene beach on the north coast of Cornwall. Part of a Special Area of Conservation, it boasts a beautiful three-mile stretch of golden sand when combined with Perranporth Beach at low tide.
Surrounded by Cornwall's most diverse system of sand dunes, Perran Sands Beach is also home to the ruins of St Piran's Oratory. The South West Coastal Path runs through these dunes, making it an excellent spot for leisurely walks to explore the area's natural beauty.
This beach can produce excellent surfing conditions, much like its neighboring Perranporth Beach, but with the added benefit of picking up more swell, particularly at the north end.
