Polperro Beach
Polperro Beach is a charming little beach located in the picturesque fishing village of Polperro. The small sand and shingly beach is very sheltered as it is protected by the harbour walls. At high tide the beach disappears, however, when the tide is out it is a popular retreat for the visitors to Polperro as they take a break from sightseeing, to sit and admire the stunning coastal scenery and fishing boats approaching the harbour.
To access the beach, visitors can park in the large car park, which is situated about 1km inland. The car park is easily located using a free Tourist Information Map, which also displays Polperro and many of the beaches along the coastline. Visitors can download the map by clicking HERE. There is also a shuttle service which provides transport nearer to the beach.
