Pedn Vounder
Pedn Vounder is a stunning little cove below the cliffs of Treen and is the eastern end of the bay that makes up Porthcurno Cove. The dramatic clifftop view shows the beautiful  sandy beach against the crystal clear blue water. In series two of Poldark, Pedn Vounder was used as the filming location for Ross and Demelza’s early morning walk before Ross left to go to trial for the smuggling charges. The cove was also used in the dream sequence in which Demelza and Ross are walking along the beach. The famous Logan Rock, a block of granite weighing in the region of seventy tons, can be seen at the headland to the east of the beach.
