What makes this beach unique is its natural shelter from the wind, making it a great spot for sunbathing and swimming. At low tide, the beach expands to a very large size, providing plenty of space for everyone visiting to space out and enjoy the sand.

This lovely beach is located in a fairly remote location, giving it a serene and peaceful atmosphere. There are facilities and amenities too, making this a family-friendly beach.

Nature lovers will be delighted to know that behind the East end of the beach is a designated nature reserve, which is home to many species of flora and fauna which flourish at this coastal location.

One of the highlights of Kennack Sands Beach is the delightful little stream and many rockpools, providing hours of fun for the family. At high tide, the beach is naturally divided by a rocky outcrop, creating almost two separate beaches, East and West.

Additionally, dogs are allowed on the eastern part of the beach, making it a great spot for a day out with your furry friends.

For those looking to explore the surrounding area, Cadgwith Cove is located 5.5km to the west, and Coverack Beach is 7.5km to the east.
