Port Quin
Port Quin is a truly unspoilt cove which lies on spectacular coastline between Port Isaac and Polzeath and offers a quiet, rocky beach at low tide. Port Quin is being used as a filming location for series three of Poldark. We anticipate there may be some magnificent clifftop scenes in store and also views of the unspoilt harbour and small number of cottages that remain in this pretty little cove. Doyden Castle, a small castle-like building sits perched high on the cliffs overlooking Port Quin. Built in the 1830’s by a wealthy local, Doyden Castle was used as a location in the original BBC adaption of Poldark which was filmed over forty years ago.
